be soldered or screwed to the bracket.

Keyed or Snap type chassis construction is not allowed. Chassis
Main Rails of round steel wire or round brass rod/tubing may be
ground/sanded a maximum of 20% of the wire diameter and must be ground/sanded
on the bottom side of the wire and chassis only. No flat or strip type rails
allowed. Chassis Main Rails must connect the front of the chassis to the rear
motor bracket. No Pan type or one piece type chassis allowed. The bottom
surface of the chassis and motor must be straight and flat in all directions (
front to rear and side to side ) with no sagging or drooping or bowing parts
below the chassis main rails. This will be checked with a straight edge ruler.

All hinged movements must be oriented in one and the same
direction excluding the drop arm. Shaker pans are allowed. Centerline hinges
are not allowed.

Maximum chassis width is 3 1/8" ( 79.38 mm )

Motor- The only allowed motor for Can Am is the
Sealed Pro Slot PS-4002-FK motor. All motors must run an 8 tooth pinion.

Pro-Slot 4002 FK Motor Rules

Motors must be factory sealed and using the unmodified factory seal only.
Seals may have clear "finger nail polish" added to extend life
of seal. NO other modifications to the seals allowed

All motors must run an 8 tooth pinion. At some events smaller
pinion may be allowed due to track length.

Racers may change brushes and springs.
Only 3 coil replacement springs are allowed.

Any 36-D sized motor brushes may be used.
Brushes may not be cut, slotted or modified on the surface touching
the commutator. Brushes may be radiused prior to break in.

No spring insulation or shunt wires are allowed.

Super Glue may be added to the endbell bushing.

Can oilite bushing may be soldered in place.

Armature Shafts may be cut on both sides of the motor.

Motors may NOT be refurbed.

NO OTHER MODIFICATIONS ALLOWED TO MOTOR.

Body- Any Approved Can Am body may be used. Bodies must be 1969 or
earlier models based on the actual full sized cars of that era. Bodies may not
be modified from their original molded factory form. Max width of bodies and
spoilers are 3 1/4". No excessive cutting allowed. Front wheel wells
must be cut out. Rear wheel wells are to be cut out unless the real car was ran
with the rear wheels enclosed. Rear of body may be cut out. Tape to reinforce
bodies is allowed.

REAR BODY SKIRTS:  There is no maximum limit to rear body skirts behind
the rear tires in Can-Am, World Sports Car (Coupe), Retro Anglewinder, and
Formula One/Indy. No material of any kind may be added on to the body to extend
rear body skirts. All rear body skirts must clear by .050 sitting on the tech
block.

Bodies:  Must have three numbers and be painted. Bodies may have
clear sides and no higher than 1/4" ( 6.35 mm ) measured from the
bottom of the body when mounted on the car. Windshields/windows must be clear
or tinted as on the full size car. Must not be able to see the chassis
through the body and body must be opaque except for the clear sides and
windshield areas or any other area ( air vents ) that was open on the full
size car. There is to be a minimum of 1/16" ( 1.59mm ) vertical front
area ( grill, bumper ) on the front of the body. The only exception to this
rule is the TI-22 and Porsche 917PA Riverside bodies which had no front
vertical area.

Front and Rear tires and/or chassis may not be visible
outside the body when looking down on the car/body.

Body interiors must be used. Must be formed and 3-D. No flat
interiors allowed. Must be painted a minimum of two colors. Must have driver,
helmet, arms, shoulders and steering wheel molded in. The cockpit area
must be cut out on the mold lines of the body.
